Scandals! Part 3

And yet another sportsman... Ashley Cole.

Although Ashley Cole has not had any children, he is married to a pop star that’s ever growing in the spotlight, Cheryl Cole.

Sadly this is not the first time for Mrs Cole to have to go through a cheating ordeal. Back in January 2008, when his alleged affair with a hairdresser was made public, Cheryl worked through it with Ashley. This second alleged affair took place at the end of 2008, with Liverpool FC’s receptionist. Classy!
However, this time around she is announcing that their relationship is over, and is planning to divorce her partner and focus on her blossoming career. Have a look at Cheryl’s video for the latest single Parachute:

So, that is a total of four scandals with men in the media in as many months. Wow. With the latest culprits including Take That’s Mark Owen, Sandra Bullocks’ husband Jesse James, as well as Kate Winslet’s husband of seven years Sam Mendes.

What does this show us? That the media is becoming increasingly more intrusive with the lives of the rich and famous. Or that these individuals are becoming numbingly insensitive and immoral when living the high life. I say both.

The easy argument is to blame it on the lying deceitful adulterous man. However, with constant female flirtatious attention thrust upon them, alongside busy wives unable to give their attention and stressful lives, are the men completely to blame?

Scandals! Part 2

Now this next one shocked me the most... Vernon Kay.
Vernon Kay is a very talented individual. Vernon started off his career through modelling, and then developed into radio and television presenting. He has presented on T4, All Star Family Fortunes and on Radio 1 on the weekends:

He is married to Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly and has two young daughters, Amber and Phoebe. But when his text sex scandal was revealed, Vernon was ready to accept and announce that he had been sending raunchy messages to five other women. Tess appeared on the One Show last night, BBC One Show , where she said she was hoping to work things out for the sake of their ten year relationship and family.

Yet another scandal coming soon...

SCANDALS- Men In The Media

SCANDALS- MEN IN THE MEDIA

And so there was Tiger Woods...

Naughty Tiger had been married to a beautiful Swedish model for five years; they met in 2001 at the British Open where Elin was actually working as a nanny at the time to Jesper Parnevik, a Swedish golfer. Since then he has fathered two adorable children Sam Alexis Woods, born in 2007 and then Charlie Axel Woods, born in 2009.

This “happy family” had a deceitful father who cheated not just once, but several times.
WHY!? In his public apology he said; “I thought I could get away with whatever I wanted to”. “I felt I was entitled to it”. Here is Tiger’s ever so emotional public apology:

Then there was John Terry.

The England football captain attempted to keep the allegations about his private life hidden. But that certainly did him no good! The judge ruled against John Terry because he thought the claim for a gagging order was not to do with his private life, but instead his sponsorship deals being lost, as the in case with Woods.

Once again, this affair was by a man, who has a beautiful wife Toni Poole and very cute twin children Georgie John and Summer Ros.

The affair was with a French model, Vanessa Perroncel. And just to spice things up a little she was in fact his former team-mate’s, Wayne Bridge who is now playing for Manchester City, ex-girlfriend!

With the lead up to Terry playing against Wayne Bridge in the Chelsea v Man City game, there was a campaign from fellow players asking people not to boo at Terry. That was unbelievable in my eyes, why on earth should people act as though his actions have been completely normal and morally correct, when that is definitely not the case. Shocking.

So when John Terry’s handshake was dismissed by Wayne Bridge I was delighted, have a look at the moment for yourselves:

That's all for now. More on "Men in the Media Scandals"coming soon!
